ScopeThis policy applies to all employees, contractors, and users of Air Fiber Networks' telecommunication systems, including VoIP and other internet-based communication services.
E911 Service Provision Air Fiber Networks shall provide E911 services that enable emergency responders to receive accurate location information for all users making emergency calls.
Accurate Location InformationThe company shall maintain current and accurate location information for all devices connected to its network. Location data shall include physical address, building, floor, and room number, where applicable.
Registration and Updates All new devices, users, or locations shall be registered in the E911 system prior to use. Any changes to user locations or device configurations shall be promptly updated in the E911 database.
System Reliability and TestingRegular testing of E911 services shall be conducted to ensure system functionality and accuracy. Any identified issues shall be addressed promptly to maintain compliance and service quality.
User Awareness and TrainingEmployees and users shall be educated about the importance of accurate location information and how to report changes.
